Amra Bangali places deputation with 6-point demands

Dharmanagar Sept 22: Amra Bangali party placed deputation to the District Magistrate Nagesh Kumar B in Dharmanagar on the basis of six point demands.
Based on the demands, Amra Bangali party workers held a rally in Dharmanagar.
The delegation of Amra Bangali leaders alleged that the BJP-IPFT coalition government in the state came to power with several promises but did not fulfill any of these. These includes employment of 50,000 youths in various departments, employment of 3,500 TET candidates, reinstatement of 10,323 teachers, price control of essential commodities, recognition of Bengali language in government sector including airports, Bengali dominated by Mizo Reang refugees, to stop the persecution of Bengali people in the area.
Speaking at the meeting after the deputation, a leader on behalf of the Bengali party alleged that the current state and central government are trying to eradicate the Bengali language in various ways.
The leaders further alleged Bengali families are being attacked by the Mizo Reang refugees in a wide area including Nyersing Para, Anandbazar in our state but the government is playing a silent role.
The leaders said that this program is to bring out this unbelievably cheap behavior of the government in front of the public.
