Antarip, Julekha set to greet visitors at Sepahijala wildlife sanctuary

Charilam Aug 5: Sepahijala Sanctuary in Sepahijala district of Tripura has celebrated the first instance of successful hand-rearing in India of Clouded Leopard cubs on Thursday.
To mark the International World Clouded Leopard Day, a programme was organized in the sanctuary and the two hand-reared Leopard cubs were released in the Conservation Breeding Centre Sepahijala on Thursday. The staff of the Sepahijala Sanctuary named the cubs Antarip and Julekha.
In the programme, staff of the Sepahijala were felicitated for discharging their responsibilities in the conservation of Clouded Leopard.
Among others, Sabhadhipati of Sepahijala Zila Parishad Supriya Das Datta, DFO Biswajit Das and other officials of the Sanctuary were present in the programme.
According to the Sanctuary staff, Antarip and Julekha will be add more to the attractions for tourists.
