Agartala May 02: Nearly, six thousand candidates sat for Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination (TBJEE) 2024 on Thursday hoping for admission into engineering and medical colleges in the state.
The examinations of both groups, PCM and PCB were held on the same day, informed TBJEE chairman Dr Raja Chakraborty.
Aiming to ensure smooth conduct of the examinations, the TBJEE chairman accompanied by secretary Dr Prithvijyoti Bhowmik and others visited the exam centres in the state capital on this day.
“Examinations of Group A- Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics; Group B- Physics, Chemistry, Biology were held on the same day. Many candidates sat for Group C examination comprising all the four subjects; Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology”, said Dr Raja Chakraborty.
This year, out of 17 examination centres across the state, there were a total of 11 centres in the capital city, he said.
The TBJEE Chairman further announced that the results will be declared on the fourth week of May 2024, tentatively.
Tripura Joint Entrance Examination or TJEE is a state-level exam conducted by the Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination (TBJEE) held for taking admission into Engineering, Medical, Technological, Veterinary, Agriculture, Fisheries, Paramedical and other professional degrees offered in the colleges of Tripura.
