Agartala, Sep 02: Graduates of B.Ed and D.El.Ed under the banner of All Tripura B.Ed and D.El.Ed qualified students on Monday knocked the door of Teachers’ Recruitment Board of Tripura (TRBT) and demanded the government for an early conduct of TET examination and initiate the process of recruitment of teachers.
The agitated graduates said that the government was supposed to conduct TET examinations twice in a year for recruitment of teachers, but the graduates have been waiting for the last 2 years for it as the government had failed to conduct the examination.
The candidates gathered in front of the TRBT office, urging the Board to schedule the TET exams promptly.
According to the agitated graduates, the TRBT chairman has informed that the board is ready to conduct the TET examination, but as the board had not yet received any signal from the government, they are unable to start the process.
The deprived graduates however sought the intervention of the Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha and demanded the government to issue notification for TET examination at the earliest.
