Agartala, June 21: Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has sent 800 kg 'Amrapali' Mangoes for Governor, Chief Minister and others in Tripura as a gift.

The consignment of 800 kg Mangoes has reached zero point of Akhaura border on Monday and Assistant High Commissioner of Bangladesh in Agartala- Arif Mohammad has received it, according to an official statement.

The Bangladesh Assistant High Commissioner then paid a courtesy visit to Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha and handed over the mangoes sent by the Bangladesh Prime Minister.

The Chief Minister extended greetings to the Bangladesh Prime Minister after receiving the gift.

The Bangladesh Assistant High Commissioner was accompanied by first secretary Md. Rezaul Haque Chowdhury and S.M. Asaduzzaman.
