Agartala, Apr 06. BJP MP from West Tripura Biplab Kumar Deb on Sunday hit out at Communist Party and claimed that that party could never make a comeback in Tripura.

Speaking at a party rally organized to mark the foundation day of BJP, Deb said, “The genesis of the Communist movement in the world is backed by bloodshed and violence. History is evidence of that. And, people of Tripura have realized that in the 25 year long misrule.”

Asserting that communists would never make a comeback in the state, he accused the party of betraying the people of the state.  

“They made false promises. They destroyed the future of youth. This is why they faced mass rejection from the people of Tripura,” he added.

The BJP MP also criticized the Communist Party for its lack of leadership. “None of the parties that are inclined to the Communist ideology have a challenging leadership,” he asserted.
