Teliamura, June 16: A shining example of honesty emerged from Teliamura, as an agricultural worker, Bishwajit Das, returned a lost handbag brimming with cash to its rightful owner.

Khelarani Ghosh, a resident of Kalyanpur, misplaced her handbag containing a significant amount of money after visiting a government office and grabbing lunch in Chakmaghat. Fortunately, Das stumbled upon the lost bag while walking in the area.

Driven by his unwavering integrity, Das bypassed any temptation and instead sought help from the Teliamura police station. News of the lost and found bag, fueled by social media, ultimately reunited Ghosh with her belongings. She retrieved the bag, containing ₹13,510, from the police station after providing proper identification.

Ghosh's heart overflowed with gratitude for Das's honesty. This incident serves as a powerful reminder of the importance of integrity, highlighting how a simple act of kindness can significantly impact someone's life.
