The fact finding team constituted by BJP chief Jagat Prakash Nadda took stock of the present situation in Bengal and interacted with the saffron supporters displaced from home following the post-poll violence.
Deb said, that the BJP Parivaar stands in solidarity with all Karyakartas and their families and public who have fallen victim to Mamata Banerjee-led TMC's large-scale violence after the Lok Sabha polls.
"There is no place for political violence in Indian democracy. Under the leadership of Mamata Banerjee, who came to power in West Bengal on the promise of "Maa, Mati, Manush", both democracy and Bengali culture are being tarnished," Deb commented.
He also said, "The BJP will not tolerate this anarchy and will respond appropriately through democratic process. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, we will continue to work for the welfare of the people of Bengal."
Speaking to the media, Deb highlighted Tripura where no political murder was reported since the change in power in 2018. He also mentioned that during communist regime, the people of Tripura experienced such political murders.
