Agartala April 16: People want to see Narendra Modi as the Prime Minister once again, as evidenced by the massive turnout in election rallies, showcasing people’s faith in the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
As the stage is all set for the Prime Minister to address the common people in support of BJP candidates for both the Lok Sabha seats as well as Ramnagar bypolls, we are looking forward to a massive turnout of supporters at the Swami Vivekananda Maidan on Wednesday, said Subrata Chakraborty, Spokesperson, Tripura BJP.
Addressing the press from the state party headquarters in Krishnanagar, Agartala Chakraborty said, “The party karyakartas at all levels have been working tirelessly all these days keeping the Lok Sabha elections at front. Wednesday is the last day of campaign before the polling date for West Tripura Parliamentary Constituency on April 19 and Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the people of Tripura at 1:00 pm in the afternoon at Astabal grounds”.
“It is going to be a historic rally as we are already sure of the massive turnout of supporters, underscoring their faith in the BJP and PM Modi”, he said.
Meanwhile, talking about the poll manifesto released by both CPI-M and Congress ahead of the polls, the state BJP Spokesperson said, “The poll manifesto released by Congress named ‘Nyay Patra’ is not ‘Nyay’ in any sense. It is the Congress- led UPA government that is responsible for ‘Anyay’ (Injustice) to the people of India in every sphere”.
Claiming that the Modi government has already given all sorts of necessary and fundamental assistance to the common people starting from, free ration, housing under PMAY scheme, toilets, assistance through several schemes Chakraborty said, “If elected to power, the Congress will destroy the country and put a halt to the developmental pace that the country has seen under PM Modi-led BJP government in all these years. The Congress will divide the country in the name of caste and creed. Also, their manifesto shows not a single point related to developmental works”.
The state BJP Spokesperson further pointed out CPI-M as a ‘party that believes in violence’ adding that, “The party that miserable failed to do anything good for the people of Tripura in its 25 years of rule will not be able to do anything good now and that too when it is already taking the support of its all time rival, Congress”.
Highlighting the salient features of BJPs Poll manifesto, ‘Modi ki Guarantee’, Subrata Chakraborty urged the people to vote for the BJP candidates.
