Agartala, July 10: Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha on Sunday said the party base is strong following active participation of Karyakartas at booth level.

He also said, the party would take necessary initiative to honour this dedication of Karyakartas.

Dr. Saha was addressing a Karyakarini meet organised by BJP Sadar district unit at Rabindra Shatabarshiki Bhavan.

In the meet, Dr. Saha discussed the party strategy for the 2023 assembly polls.

Speaking to the media, the Chief Minister said after the central Karyakarini meet held in Hyderabad, the state unit also held two-day Karyakarini meet.

He said, all 10 organizational districts of the party held Karyakarini meet on Sunday. In the next phase, mandal-level meet would be held, he added.

"We discussed various organizational matters and future roadmap for party activities in the meet.

Financial proposal passed in the central executive meet along with political proposal has also been discussed," Dr. Saha told the reporters.

BJP state general secretary Kishore Barman, BJP Sadar unit president Asim Bhattacharjee and others were present.
