Kanchanpur, June 29: Displaced families from various areas under Kanchanpur subdivision conducted a mass rally at Kanchanpur on Wednesday. Later a delegation placed deputation to the sub-divisional magistrate with a 10-charter of demands. The major demands include; immediate implementation of the central government's resettlement package by August 31, the introduction of pending ration materials, immediate resettlement of the refugee families under Dashda RD block, the launch of pending relief packages and other demands related to rehabilitation.  Among others, president of MBDPF A Sawibunga general secretary of MBDPF Bruno Msha remained present in the delegation.  The leaders told the reporters they hope the government would meet their demands as early as possible. However, they warned to go for a larger movement in the coming days if their demands are not met immediately. The sub-divisional magistrate informed that the administration would send their memorandum to the Chief Minister.
