Agartala July 01: A mega Sit-N-Draw competition was organized by the prestigious BSU Medha Anwesha Tripura Chapter as a part of the celebration of Birthday of Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy. The programme was inaugurated with floral tributes to the portrait of Dr. Roy, by Manoj Roy, Teacher, Banividyapith Girls HS School, State Convener of BSU Medha Anwesha.Totally 202 students participated in 4 groups (6 to 22 years) in the competition. Hindustan Tours and Travels assisted to organize the programme. Best 3 students from each group along with 22 consolation prizes from each group will be awarded from the BSU Medha Anwesha. “The result will be published in BSU Medha Anwesha’s Facebook Page (BSU Medha Anwesha Tripura Chapter) within 15 days”, said Swapna Dasgupta (Teacher), a member of the organization. Others who were present at the programme was Mrinal Ghosh (Teacher) and Soma Das etc. BSU Medha Anwesha is constantly working for the students and organizing different activities for the students allover the state. The Organization has written a letter to the Chief Minister of Tripura to rename the Children’s park of Agartala by the name of Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy.a
