Agartala, January 24, 2025: Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha, during a public meeting at Swami Vivekananda Maidan, criticized the CPI(M) for their allegations regarding venue allocation for their upcoming state conference.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Saha stated, “The CPI(M) is unnecessarily politicizing the matter of venue allocation. The Swami Vivekananda Ground was already booked for a Self-Help Group (SHG) fair. Despite this, they are trying to mislead the public by creating baseless narratives.”
The Chief Minister emphasized that the BJP-led government operates with transparency and fairness. He highlighted that alternative venues were available for the opposition party but alleged that the CPI(M) is using the issue to gain political mileage.
“The BJP government has always supported democratic events, but such tactics by the opposition only expose their desperation,” he added.
Dr. Saha also underlined the development initiatives of his government, asserting that the public recognizes the progress made under BJP’s leadership.
