Congress calls off July 21 strike in North District

Dharmanagar July 15: “Thousands of people across the state will participate in the dharna on July 21”, said TPCC President Brijit Sinha while addressing at the Dharmanagar District Congress Building.
Brijit Sinha was accompanied by District Youth Congress President Nirupan Dey, Congress leader Kebal Kanti Nandi and others. Brijit Sinha said the BJP government at the Center has conspired with Prime Minister Narendra Modi to harass Congress leaders one after the other through EDs. Earlier Rahul Gandhi was interrogated by ED, now on July 21 Congress President Sonia Gandhi has been issued a notice of interrogation. So on July 21, Congress leaders will sit on dharna in front of ED offices in every state across India. Moreover, on July 22, Congress workers will participate in protest in front of each district office. Therefore, the three-day strike called by the Congress across the northern district has been suspended for the time being. TPCC president Brijit Sinha has called upon all Congress workers and supporters to join the movement in groups.
