Agartala, July 09: Even as the state is witnessing an alarming rise in Covid cases, no effective measure is visible on the part of the Health department so far.

More 32 positive cases have been found in the state as per the report of Saturday morning. With the new cases, the number of Covid-infected persons under treatment has reached 72 while three people have recovered.

The 32 new cases included 16 in West Tripura district alone, 11 in Sepahijala, 1 each in South Tripura and Unakoti districts. The official report said, 531 samples have been tested and 32 among them have been detected positive—the positivity rate is 6.03 per cent.
