Agartala, June 22: Tripura has been felicitated in the national review meet for its outstanding response during COVID19 pandemic.

The update came from former Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb in a Facebook post on Tuesday. He congratulated the state health team for the achievement.

“Happy to know that Integrated Disease Surveillance Programme National Centre for Disease Control Felicitated TRIPURA for outstanding response during COVID19 pandemic at National Review Meet. Best wishes to entire HealthCare fraternity for their earnest efforts during COVID19,” he wrote on official Facebook handle.

Meanwhile, Deb, the then Chief Minister, held the portfolio of Health during the Covid period and Tripura’s efforts in Covid management was recognized in the national level multiple times.
