Agaratala March 19: Urging votes from the common people, former MLA and CPI-M candidate for by-elections in Ramnagar assembly seat, Ratan Das launched a door-to-door campaign against the ‘propaganda’ of ‘BJPs Good Governance’ on Tuesday.
Urging the people to boycott BJP-TIPRA Motha alliance, Das said, “People of not only Ramnagar, but entire Tripura and other BJP ruled states are fed up with the anti-people policies and atrocities of the Modi government. And meanwhile, the tribal people of Tripura have also realized what their ‘King’ has for them in real”.
Terming BJP as ‘Jumlabaaz’ the CPI-M candidate further added, “In the name of good governance ‘Sushasan’, they are running a government of oppression. The party failed to keep a single promise made to the people. Besides, common people have lost their freedom of speech and democracy is constantly under attack”.
Ratan Das further urged the people to vote in favour of Congress candidate Asish Kumar Saha in the West Tripura seat in the Lok Sabha elections.
