Teliamura/Gandacherra: Day after tension ran high at Charilam after the clash between the ruling BJP party and the opposition CPI-M, which killed one and injured many, the CPI-M party on Thursday organised protest rally across the state and demanded action against BJP goons involved with the incident.
The party’s divisional committee in Teliamura organised a party gathering followed by a protest rally at Teliamura on Thursday, where the former MLA Manindra Chandra Das and party leader Hemanta Kumar Jamatia among others were present.

The party leaders later joined the protest rally on Thursday which moved across Teliamura city.
Similar protest rally was organised at Gandacherra sub-division on Thursday, where party’s former MLA Lalit Tripura, Santosh Chakma and Dhananjoy Tripura among others were present.
