CPI-M workers injured in Camper Bazar; Ex-CM Manik Sarkar slams CM Dr Saha over “Good Law and Order” statement

Agartala Nov 21: Former chief minister Manik Sarkar met the injured CPI-M workers at Agartala GB hospital on Sunday night.
Condemning such brutal incidents of attacks over opposition party workers, Sarkar said, “This is the condition of BJP’s propagated ‘Sushashan’. Everyday there are attacks on common men, opposition workers. But the chief minister keeps on claiming that the law-and-order condition is the state is very stable under his leadership”.
On Sunday, CPI-M Badharghat local Committee organized a “Jhata march” in Camper Bazar area.
As the CPI(M) workers gathered for the rally, allegedly several BJP workers wearing black masks and helmets carrying bikes attacked the CPI(M) activists.
CPI(M) worker Sujoy Sarkar and Babul Banik were critically injured in the attack while two bikes were vandalized.
Later, receiving information, police of AD Nagar police station rushed to the spot.
The two injured persons were rescued and taken to Hapania TMC Hospital and were later referred to GB Hospital for advanced treatment.
Reacting to this former chief minister and CPI-M politburo Manik Sarkar said, “There were more than 35 miscreants owing allegiance to the ruling party who attacked at the CPI-M program. Is this BJP’s Sushashan”?
Reacting to the chief minister Dr Manik Saha’s statement over “good law and order situation in Tripura”, Manik Sarkar said, “Everyday violent incidents are showing just the opposite of his statement”.
