Agartala, June 28: After facing a major set back unlike the other opposition parties in Tripura in the recently concluded by-elections, the Trinamool Congress Party on Tuesday alleged that both the CPI(M) and Congress party hatched conspiracy against the TMC to blow oxygen for the ruling BJP party.

Ending a day long meeting of the TMC party to review the party’s set back in the recent elections, the TMC Pradesh supremo Subal Bhowmik said, “During the arrival of the delegation of the AICC recently, the congress had simply praised the role of Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha, under whose tenure as BJP president and now Chief Minister, terror tactics were hatched in Tripura.”

“The Congress rather than protesting the role of the Chief Minister and the BJP’s terror tactics, they hatched conspiracy against the TMC party. Because, the Congress and the CPI(M) understood the emergence of the TMC party in Tripura,” he claimed.

He said that with presence of 123 members, the TMC party on Tuesday reviewed the party’s drawbacks in the recently held elections, so that the party can be prepared accordingly for the crucial assembly elections in 2023 in Tripura.

“We believe that the TMC will be able to rescue the people of Tripura from frustration and odds by establishing government in the upcoming assembly elections,” Bhowmik told reporters.
