Kalyanpur Nov 02: A great deal of stir lies in the Kalyanpur area surrounding the recovery of dead body of a drug addict youth from an abandoned place on Wednesday morning.

The deceased has been identified as Akash Das (20) S/O Pintu Das, a resident of Kalyanpur Bazar Colony.

According to local residents and family members, Akash was addicted to drugs for a long time.

However, the family claimed that he was not taking drugs at present. But drug syringe was recovered next to his dead body.

Kalyanpur police rushed to the spot and sent the body for autopsy to the hospital.

Police said everything will be clear as the post-mortem report comes in.

However, no signs of injury on the body could be found.
