Agartala Dec 05: In the name of a case filed in the High Court against recruitment of candidates, Tripura government has paralyzed the recruitment process of qualified STGT job aspirants, even though the government has been propagating about recruiting all TET qualifiers together.
Similar allegations were raised by STGT qualified job aspirants amid a press conference at the Agartala Press Club here on Monday.
Reportedly, the qualified job aspirants in large numbers visited the official residence of Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha on discuss on the issue, but the chief minister did not meet the delegation of STGT qualified youths and the officials asked the job aspirants to take a proper official appointment to meet the Chief Minister.
Later conducting a press conference under the banner of All Tripura STGT Qualified Candidates-2022, the job aspirants said, “We have cleared the examination for been recruited into service as teachers for Classes 9, 10. But citing a case filed at the High Court the state government has halted the recruitment process”.
“We are moving to the doors of Ministers’ every other day. Earlier the government including the education minister promised to recruit us all together, but now we have no idea why the government is not taking any step to end the so-called case and fulfill its promises”, added the youths.
“Six months to about to get completed and thereafter our exam qualification won’t have any value”, added one of the job aspirants.
Briefing the reporters, another qualified job aspirant said, “Students are protesting on roads demanding teachers, we are protesting on roads demanding recruitment as teachers. This is the scenario of quality education in Tripura.”
The youths demanded the state government to immediately resolve the case at Hight Court and recruit all the qualified youths in the vacant posts.
