Agartala May 23: Agartala Municipal Corporation Mayor Dipak Majumder on Tuesday, met the people of Medda Chowmani area under Ward No 51 and promised to solved their problems at the earliest.

Notably, the Mayor was apprised of several issues of the area by the locals through live program of a local electronic media on last Saturday.

Tuesday, the Mayor visited the area with other officials and inspected the problems reported by the locals.

Speaking to the media persons, Majumder said, “The locals alleged water logging problem in the Rabindra Nagar area of Medda Chowmani and other issues like improper roads and drainage”.

The Mayor assured the locals that the issues will be resolved at the earliest and the roads will be renovated with proper drainage system.
