Kumarghat Dec 23: Youth of Tripura under Bharatiya Janata Party are working to establish “Good-Governance” in every corner of the state, said BJYM National president Tejaswi Surya.
The national president of BJP’s Youth Front was addressing a “Yuva Vijay Sankalp” Rally that was organized by the Unakoti District Yuva Morcha at Fatikroy School grounds on Thursday.
Addressing the mass gathering BJYM National president and party’s MP, Tejaswi Surya said, “Coming to Tripura for the first time, it is clearly visible how Tripura has developed in these 4-8 years of BJP governance”.
Taking a dig over the previous left government, he said, “No one knew Tripura state during the previous government but after the government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi got established in the state, new wings have been added in the development of every state in the North-Eastern region including development in the field of national highways, railways, air services, in general there has been overall development in all areas”.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that three days ago, Prime Minister Narendra Modi came to the Vivekananda Maidan in Agartala and the mass gathering of people who joined the rally from different parts of the state proved how the people loves and supports Bharatiya Janata Party.
“The entire ground and outside was ‘Modimoi’ on Prime Minister’s visit”, said Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha.
The chief minister added, “Earlier, such a large gathering was never held in the state of Tripura”.
“The central BJP leadership are working like guardian for the BJP functionaries of each state. BJP's organization is not only a political organization, but a service organization”, he added.
Dr Saha claimed, “A good governance is going on in the state, so far no one has been able to file corruption charges against any BJP leader or minister in the state government as the government is working fairly in every sector”.
Criticizing the previous left government, the chief minister said, “Left Front always used to boast saying that it is a party for the poor, but did nothing for the poor in reality”.
Adding that the goal of BJP-led state government is to reach to the last person of the society chief minister Dr Manik Saha said, “Only because of the developmental attitude of the BJP people will vote it back to power in 2023”.
Apart from BJYM National president and MP Tejaswi Surya, State Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha, BJP State president Rajib Bhattacharjee also remained present as chief guests in the rally.
Besides, Minister Bhagaban Das, local MLA Sudhanshu Das and MLA Shambhulal Chakma and other party functionaries were also present.
