Udaipur, Mar 26: After a long gap of 29 months, the donation box containing ornaments at Mata Tripureshwari Temple was opened on Wednesday amidst strict security measures. 

A total of 4 kg 674-gram gold ornaments and 15 kg 746-gram silver were found inside.

Following the security protocol, the collected ornaments were transported to the district treasury at the District Magistrate’s office. 

According to temple sources, the amount of ornament donations has been increasing steadily since 2018.
