Agartala Feb 10: With an aim to increase the curiosity of the students’ and to encourage hands- on learning along with cultivating interest in science, a science exhibition was organized in DWPS Agartala.
The annual event, Science Exhibition was held under the theme; "Eureka: explore, discover, and unlock life's tapestry," at the school campus.
The exhibition started at 10: 00 am and was open to all the parents and students of the school.
The day started with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the DWPS board member and school principal, followed by students performing Saraswati Vandana.
The Principal of the school gave a commencement speech and mentioned that the main motto for this science exhibition is to involve and engage each student, to gain their interest in science and technology, to learn new facts and inventive creations, and to provide them with a platform to express their skills and creative thinking.
Apart from this, the fourth edition of the school magazine “Aakaar”, vol. 4.0, was also released on this day.
All students from various classes participated in the exhibition. The Principal went around looking at the different models designed by the students and assessed the descriptions given by the students. The parents, too, looked at the various models put up by the students.
The school also included cultural components in this event, which provided students with a platform to showcase their talents in performing arts.
On the whole, the science exhibition was a great learning experience for both the students and teachers.
The guests and the parents had appreciated the entire event and the hard work that went into creating it.
