Agartala, Nov 03: Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Dev Varma on Thursday held a review meeting at Gonda Twisa in Dhalai district and discussed various development activities. 

The review meeting was followed by inauguration of Dumboor Nagar block building. The Deputy Chief Mister had laid the foundation stone of the project one year ago.

In a social media post, the Deputy Chief Minister congratulated Rural Development department for completing this work in a mission mode. He also handed over cheques to Self Help Groups (SHGs).

As part of the programme, the Deputy Chief Minister also handed over one Mobile Health Van sponsored by OTPC for the Gonda Twisa sub-division. 

The mobile health unit will have free medicines, one doctor, one nurse and a pharmacist. The medical team will visit the remote areas in the sub-division for providing healthcare to the people. The Health Van is also equipped with ECG and other facilities. 

He thanked the OTPC and its MD, who also attended the programme, for coming forward to help this noble cause.

MP Rebati Tripura, EM TTTADC Rajesh Tripura, MDC Bhumikananda Reang and other administrative officials were present.
