DYFI, TYF demands employment, rule of law against drug addiction

Teliamura, Jan 08: The Democratic Youth Federation of India state committee and the Tribal Youth Federation of the opposition CPI(M) on Wednesday organised a padayatra here at Teliamura subdivision to press for their demand of employment opportunity and establishment of rule of law against growing drug addiction.
The DYFI state secretary Nabarun Deb, TYF central committee president Kaushik Debbarma, DYFI Teliamura sub committee secretary Abhijit Deb, CPI(M) leader Subhash Nath and others joined the padayatra and slammed the government over growing drug addiction and unemployment rate.
The padayatra kicked off from the CPI(M) party office and moved across the city. Addressing the gathering, the TYF central committee president Kaushik Debbarma said that at a time when the unemployed youths of the state are being deprived from employment, they are being pushed toward drug addiction. The future of youths of the state are bleak under the rule of the present government, he added.
