Agartala, Feb 01: The state executive committee of Bharatiya Janata Party was constituted on Thursday in view of the Lok Sabha polls.

There are a total of 59 members and 14 invitee members in the committee that included Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha, former Chief minister Biplab Kumar Deb, Union Minister of State Pratima Bhowmik, former Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Dev Varma, MP Rebati Tripura, the ministers and other top party leaders.

BJP state president Rajib Bhattacharjee declared the new state committee.

The Chief Minister congratulated all the members who have been appointed in the committee.

The new executive committee would play an effective role in taking the ideals of Bharatiya Janata Party to everyone, Dr. Saha commented in a social media post.
