Fire and Emergency service aspirants protest delay in recruitment

Agartala, Sep 02: The physically qualified candidates for the post of Fire Man and driver under the Tripura Fire and Emergency Services on Monday protested against the delay in the recruitment process and sought the intervention of the Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha for early completion of their recruitment process and filling up of the 329 posts under the department.
Hundreds of job aspirants gathered infront of the office of the Directorate of Fire and Emergency Services here at Agartala and said that a notification was published by the Tripura Fire and Emergency Service Department for the recruitment of vacant posts in 2022.
According to the notification, the physical examination was conducted for the recruitment of fireman and driver posts in August 2022, the agitators said, adding that the written examination was also conducted previous year, but the government had not yet published the result of their written examination.
Around 1800 candidates had cleared their physical test, who are now waiting for the result of the written examination, they said. The job aspirants demanded the government to publish the result and complete the recruitment process at the earliest.
