Agartala July 15: Foundation stone laying ceremony for the construction of Central Office of Tripura Government Employees’ Federation was held at Ujjayanta Market in Jackson Gate area of capital City on Friday.

The ceremony was held in presence of AMC Mayor Dipak Majumder, Khadi Board Chairman Rajiv Bhattacharjee and several other leaders and members of various wings of the ruling party.

Speaking to the reporters at the day’s function AMC Mayor Dipak Majumder said because of some much important schedule Tripura CM Dr Manik Saha could not remain present at the program. He added the construction of a dedicated office room of Tripura Govt Employees’ Federation was a long standing demand that got fulfilled after long 51 years.

AMC Mayor Dipak Majumder and BJP State Vice President Rajib Bhattacharjee thanked the ruling govt in the state for the developmental works in Tripura that are adding to the welfare of the common people.
