Dharmanagar July 15: Free booster doses for 18 to 100 years started at 10 am on Friday at the Padmapur Health Center in Dharmanagar. North District Chief Health Officer Dr. Arunav Chakraborty inaugurated the function. He said so far only those over the age of 60 were given a free booster dose. On July 13, the Union Ministry of Health decided that this booster dose would be given free to everyone from 18 to 100 years from now. He added the health department is very much aware of how to give 100% booster dose in the northern district and the importance of this dose will be made known to the people by conducting several awareness camps if needed.
