Gomati district hospital to get new infra soon, Pranajit reviews service

Udaipur, Nov 17: If everything falls on the right track, the Gomati district hospital would soon be seen functioning with new infrastructures.
The state government has already initiated some plans to strengthen the hospital’s infrastructures and address the challenges.
In this direction, Finance minister Pranajit Singha Roy along with health secretary Kiran Gitte, MLA Abhishek Debroy and other health officials inspected the existing infrastructures of the hospital and held a meeting on the overall services on Saturday.
Later speaking to the media, the Finance minister said the Gomati district hospital always faces additional load since this hospital provides services to the people of Gomati and South Tripura district.
He said, the state government has been working with the goal to reduce load on the prime referral hospital- GBP hospital by strengthening the district hospitals.
To achieve the goal, plans are in the pipeline to address the infrastructural gaps in the Gomati district hospital and the visit aimed at overall infrastructure development, he said.
In a social media post, the Finance minister mentioned that development health system is not possible with improving services at district and sub-divisional hospitals. It is one of the key responsibilities of the state government to strengthen healthcare for ensuring improved medical services to all.
On Saturday, the Finance minister along with the Health secretary, the MLA and other representatives also inspected the Udaipur sub-divisional hospital. They reviewed the hospital’s present status in a meeting.
