Agartala, April 14: In wake of the celebration of Pohela Boishakh, the renowned and most popular Gomati diary opened its new venture of flavoured lassi and milk parlour at Indranagar Gomati Cooperative Milk Producers Union Limited premises on Friday.  

Chairman of Gomati Co-operative Milk Producers Union Limited Samir Chandra Das had inaugurated the parlor. He said that flavoured lassi and flavoured milk along with mango curd will be available in this parlor from now, which is North-East’s first such beverage item.

He further added that efforts have been made to produce and market other products of Gomati Milk. The company will soon also start its second plant at Bamutia very shortly, where quality and delicious food and beverages will be available, he told reporters.

Chief Managing Director of the Gomati Co-operative Milk Producers Union Limited  Anandarup Bhattacharya, Corporator of Agartala Municipal Corporation Pradip Chanda, social activist Viki Prasad among others were present in the inauguration programme.
