Agartala Jan 03: Friday morning chaos unfolded in the busiest market of the city, Maharajganj Bazaar after a goods lorry numbered AS 01 EC 9671 suddenly lost control.

The vehicle first collided with a car numbered TR 01 AM 1861 before hitting another car in the vicinity.

Several workers standing in the crowded market narrowly escaped the incident.

Talking to the reporters, an on-duty traffic personnel informed that the lorry lost control while returning back from the market after unloading goods on regular business hours.

However, both the driver and the co-driver fled the scene immediately.

“We have clicked pictures of the vehicle and sent it to the authorities concerned for further action”, said the traffic personnel.
