Agartala, Sep 27: The state cabinet minister Sushanta Chowdhury on Wednesday chaired a general meeting of the West Tripura Zilla Parishad meeting here in the conference hall of the District Magistrate Office and said that the government is working diligently to take the developmental schemes of both the Centre and the state to the doorstep of every people.

“The main aim of the government at the centre and the state is to make the people stakeholders for the country’s development,” he told reporters after the meeting.

He informed that a series of issues were discussed in the meeting with main focus on the status report and implementation of various government schemes. The officers of various service providing departments including health, power, agriculture and education department submitted their report to showcase the implementation of their schemes and also placed their proposal and suggestions.

“The Chief Minister of our state along with the cabinet ministers and state administration is working as a cohesive team to work for the welfare of the people of this state moving in line with the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of Sabka Sath Sabka Vikas,” he said.

DM Debapriya Bardhan, West Tripura Zilla Parishad Sabhadhipati, MLAs, officers of various line departments and others were present in the meeting.
