Agartala, July 13: Guru Purnima is being celebrated at Paramartha Sadhak Sangha in the city among other parts of Tripura on Wednesday.

Guru Purnima is a day of expressing gratitude to all exemplary Gurus who have inspired us, mentored us and taught us so much about life.

Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha and other leaders have extended greetings to the people on this auspicious occasion.

Special prayers were held at Ramkrishna Mission, Dhaleswar and Ram Thakur Ashram, Banamalipur.

Former Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb took part in the annual programme at the house of Minister Ramprasad Paul on this occasion.
