Agartala Dec 02: With Tripura slated to go to polls early next year, the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has geared up its organizational activities across the state.
The party under the leadership of chief minister Dr Manik Saha has launched numerous public outreach programs in a bid to connect with the common masses in a one-to-one mode.
After successful “Har Ghar Sushashan”, “Booth Chalo Abhiyan” and many more similar programs, the party leadership and karyakartas are now carrying out “Har Ghar BJP” campaign across the state.
All the ministers, MPs and MLAs are visiting each and every constituency and will prepare report cards against each constituency after the end of the visit.
In a similar campaign on Friday, Minister for Fire and Emergency Services, Ramprasad Paul who is the MLA of Surjyamaninagar assembly constituency conducted “Har Ghar BJP” campaign in Ward no 44 under Surjyamaninagar area along with local karyakartas of the party.
The minister made the locals aware of the developmental works done by the BJP in the state, so that they can decide whether the government has really worked or not.
Talking to the media persons, Paul said, “The people of the area have expressed their immense confidence and support in the Bharatiya Janata Party government. They expressed their satisfaction with the various programs of the government”.
He further said, “Under the leadership of chief Minister Dr Manik Saha, all-around improvement has taken in respect to law and order, road construction, connectivity, and employment. The government has also generated peace besides the growth of conviction rate is higher than the previous reign of Left government".
However, local people of the area raised few issues like dilapidated road and water logging. The minister assured them to solve the issue at the earliest.
Meanwhile Badharghat assembly constituency MLA Mimi Majumder also conducted door-to-door campaigns on Friday as a part of the party’s “Har Ghar BJP Abhiyan”.
