Agartala, Apr 21: In a bid to streamline and enhance the healthcare system, a Healthcare Professional Registry (HPR) Camp was organized under Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM) at Agartala Town Hall on Sunday.
The initiative aimed to digitally register all healthcare professionals, including allopathic, Ayurvedic, homeopathic doctors and nurses, whether employed or self-employed, ABDM officials said.
This move would ensure smooth access to patient health records and efficient healthcare delivery, the officials said.
Amarjit Paul, the HMIS manager at ABDM, emphasized the significance of the initiative, stating that the Healthcare Professional Registry (HPR) would provide doctors with seamless access to digitally stored patient records. This step facilitates prompt and informed healthcare decisions.
The process, entirely digital, encompasses patient visits, consultations and the maintenance of comprehensive health records for patients.
Dr. Subal Dey, branch officer at Ayush, highlighted the importance of this digital transition, affirming that all patient health records are now systematically stored and readily accessible to registered healthcare providers for reference.
