Teliamura, Jan 07: Acting on a tip-off, the Teliamura Sub-Divisional Administration, along with the Sub-Divisional Food and Civil Supplies Department and Teliamura Police, conducted a raid in the Gauranga Tilla area on Tuesday afternoon. Officials seized 31 LPG cylinders, including 18 filled and 13 empty, and several LPG customer books from a residence.

The operation was carried out at the house of Prabodh Chandra Roy after authorities received information about illegal storage of LPG cylinders. The raid was led by DCM Amit Roy Chowdhury, Food Inspector Dipankar Saha and few others.

DCM Amit Roy Chowdhury stated that storing LPG cylinders in a densely populated area without a license is a serious violation of rules. Chowdhury assured that an investigation is underway to trace the source of the cylinders and confirmed that similar operations will continue to prevent such illegal activities.
