J.P. Nadda, Smriti Irani to address election rallies in Tripura on Friday

Agartala, Feb 02: Bharatiya Janata Party is all set to intensify its campaign for the ensuing assembly elections with the participation of a host of star campaigners including Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
BJP national president J.P. Nadda and Union Minister Smriti Irani will address separate elections rallies in the state on Friday.
According to party sources, the BJP national president will address two ‘Vijay Sankalp’ rallies—one at PWD ground in Kumarghat and the other at Chandibari ground, Amarpur.
Union Minister for Women and Child Development Smriti Irani will also join the party’s campaign on the same day and address public rally at A.D. Nagar school ground.
Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha accompanied by other leaders on Thursday visited all the three venues of the election rallies and reviewed the preparations. He is also taking part in extensive door to door campaign at his constituency- Town Bordowali since announcement of the elections.
According to sources, several Union Ministers, senior leaders and chief ministers of other states will join the party’s poll campaign in Tripura and hold around 35 small and big rallies.
Meanwhile, Tripura will go to assembly elections on February 16 and the counting of votes will take place on March 02.
