Joint training on law and order begins

Agartala, July 11: Under the guidance of Ravideep Singh Sahi, Inspector General of Police, Tripura sector CRPF, a nine-day joint training on Law and Order has commenced at 124-Bn CRPF campus, Salbagan on Monday.
Fifty participants-- 25 from TSR and Tripura Police and another 25 from 71-Bn, 124-Bn and 140-Bn CRPF—joined the training programme.
The training will continue till July 20, a press release said.
On Monday, the training programme was inaugurated by B.B. Sethi, DIGP Range Agartala, in the presence of Mukesh Tyagi, Commandant of 124-Bn, CRPF and other officers of the battalion.
In the opening address, the chief guest mentioned that joint special Law and order training for the CRPF, TSR and Tripura Police is essential for more effective deliberation of duties while deployed for maintaining Law and Order.
