Agartala, Oct 28: The Judge of the High Court of Tripura, Justice Sabyasachi Datta Purkayastha was bereaved following the passing of his father, Shaktiprasad Datta Purkayastha, who died from a heart attack on Sunday afternoon at Agartala.

Shaktiprasad Datta Purkayastha was a respected senior advocate, known for his practice primarily in the Kailashahar and Dharmanagar Courts. Shaktiprasad Datta also represented cases in the Tripura High Court, where he earned a reputation for his dedication and expertise.

In an interview with Tripura Times, Sabyasachi Datta reflected on his father's legacy, stating, "My father was not just a lawyer; he was a mentor and a guiding light in my life. His commitment to justice and the law inspired many, including myself." Sabyasachi Datta added, "He dedicated his life to serving his clients and upholding the integrity of the legal system."
