Kanchanpur July 16: Coronavirus is spreading fast in Kanchanpur sub-division area. On a single day, 11 patients were found Covid positive on Saturday in the sub-division.

According to Medical officer of Kanchanpur sub-division Dr Alok Dewan, total 13 persons tested Covid positive during July 1- 15. However, the number of Covid positive cases spiked today as 11 persons were detected. Out of the 11 patients, five tested positive in Jampui PHC, two in Kanchanpur Bazar and one each at Santipur, Ahalyapur, Rabindranagar and Dasda Bazar. With fresh 11 cases, total 24 persons were found Covid positive, so far.

In view of the present situation, mass testing in Line departments under Kanchanpur sub-division would be started.
