Agartala, July 09: In a major administrative reshuffle, Tripura Government on Saturday removed Kumar Alok as Chief Secretary and transferred him as Director General, SIPARD.

J.K. Sinha, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister, will now hold the charge of Chief Secretary, according to an official notification.

Principal Secretary L.H. Darlong has been relieved from the additional charge of Director General, SIPARD.

This is one of the major moves taken by Dr. Manik Saha-led government since he took over the charge.
