Kalyanpur, Mar 28: Tension gripped Rajani Sardar Para ADC Village in Kalyanpur after the body of a janajati man, Debashish Debbarma (45), was recovered from an abandoned paddy field on Friday. 

His was a resident of Gobinda Kobrapara.

According to locals and police, Debashish was addicted to alcohol and often wandered around at night instead of staying with his elder brother and sister-in-law. 

It was learnt that his wife left him due to his severe alcohol addiction.

Kalyanpur police sent the body to the hospital morgue where a post-mortem examination will be conducted on Saturday.
