In his speech, Biswa Bandhu Sen described fairs as a celebration of life, emphasizing that while city fairs may have more grandeur, rural fairs bring a stronger emotional connection, making them true meeting places for people.
MP Rajib Bhattacharjee highlighted the development of the state under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, stating that the state, once neglected, is now receiving major attention and progress.
Minister Sudhangshu Das said the fair aims to showcase the talents of local artists, provide entertainment to the community, and encourage youth to engage in cultural activities instead of harmful addictions.
