Santirbazar, Nov 02: The state tribal welfare minister Sukla Charan Noatia on Thursday chaired a meeting here at Jolaibari R D Block with the officials, representatives and members of the block, village councils and gram panchayats to review the implementation of developmental works at village level.

During the meeting the minister asked the officials to expedite the works at village level. He said that the meeting mainly focused to check the implementation of various developmental works in Jolaibari subdivision.

He also informed that during the past six months of the second tenure of the BJP-IPFT coalition government, maximum works have been completed while some others remained pending, which are to be completed soon.

The meeting also discussed the next course of action to implement the project works of both the state and central governments in near future, he told reporters.

BDO Manas Bhattacharya, Block Panchayat Samiti Chairman Rabi Namah, Vice Chairman Tapash Datta, BSC Chairman Ashok Mog and others were present in the meeting.
