Teliamura, 13 July: A minor breathed his last after being hit by a motorbike on Wednesday. The incident took place at around 10 am in Laltila area of Moharchhara under Teliamura police station. The deceased has been identified as Totan Nandi (6). The common people rushed him to the Teliamura Sub-divisional hospital at first after witnessing the incident. Later he was referred to Agartala GB hospital owing to the critical condition. There the on-duty doctors declared the child to be dead. The news of death of the minor has spread like wildfire in the area. Police later recovered the bike, but the driver escaped.
