MLA inspects road repair works in Kalyanpur

Kalyanpur Dec 02: Recognizing the urgent need for repairs, MLA Pinaki Das Chowdhury, along with the PMGSY project officer and the PWD engineer from the Teliamura subdivision, conducted a thorough inspection of the road stretch from Kalabagan in South Durgapur to Ratia Sub-Health Center.

During this inspection, MLA Chowdhury meticulously highlighted the damaged sections to the officials, ensuring that every problematic area was noted for repair.

Notably, the local residents, who have long been advocating for the road's repair, were actively involved during the inspection. They reiterated their demand for the road to be made usable once again, emphasizing the difficulties they have faced due to its poor condition.

Responding to the community's concerns, MLA Pinaki Das Chowdhury stated that the demand for road repairs had been persistent for many days.

He assured the residents that, with the inspection now complete, repair work would commence within the next seven days.

The officials from the PWD and PMGSY project have committed to starting the necessary repairs promptly to restore the road's usability.
